Fiscal Year:
2024
Contact Information:
Project Description:
This project is designed to supplement activities through the Aging and Disability Resource Center/No Wrong Door System program to support activities that may be required to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19. Specific activities will be identified through a state level task force made up of key stakeholders in the aging and disability service systems. The priorities identified by this steering committee will be the primary activities undertaken by this project. It is anticipated that activities will include provision of PPE, technical assistance in supporting vaccine clinics, information development and dissemination, and training specific to topics that will lessen the turn-over in the Direct Support Professional (DSP) workforce, such as responding to "challenging behaviors".
