        Project Description:
        In recognition of the compatibility of the mission and purpose of both Autism Society of America (ASA) and the School for Global Inclusion and Social Development (SGISD) and its Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI) at University of Massachusetts Boston (UMB), the intent of this memorandum of understanding is to build upon the existing interests, expertise and capabilities of ASA with the interests, expertise and skills of the ICI and SGISD. The primary area of focus will be supporting ASA and its mission of 'improving the lives of all affected by Autism'. Additionally, the elements of the memorandum of understanding will be consistent with the Vision and Guiding Principles of both ASA and the mission and guiding principles of the SGISD and the ICI.
