Project Description:
Continue maintaining the Guam Early hearing Detection and Intervention Information System (EHDI-IS) on behalf of DPHSS. Serve a key role in providing administrative oversight, budget management, and meeting project goals. Continue to promote and support the coordination and collaboration around capturing diagnostic data and monitoring the data. Assure the quality and integrity of EHDI follow-up data and support the evaluation activities of the project. Responsible for conducting evaluation activities, including the development, coordination, and implementation of an EHDI-IS Evaluation Plan in close collaboration with stakeholders and using evaluation findings to support program improvements. Responsible for the management of the data system as well as providing technical assistance or training, designing, and compiling summary statistics reports on diagnostic and early intervention data, using the consultant's experience in data collection, management analysis, and interpersonal skills. Facilitate the consultation the services of the Guam EHDI Database Consultant to provide technical assistance to GCL-EHDI including enhancing the GCL-EHDI by refining interoperability protocols with DPHSS EHR, technical assistance in the maintenance and enhancement of GCL-EHDI, to facilitate the development and implementation of technical modifications for GCL-EHDI, and to develop and facilitate an interface plan on the interoperability of GCL-EHDI and the affiliated stakeholder database system. Facilitate planning meetings & implement transition and transfer of GCL-EHDI database to DPHSS. Create and implement data tracking system to monitor/ track family involvement/engagement activities. Create, produce, and print annual data report in calendar format that reflects the number of babies born at the birthing centers that we screened. Aggregate and verify al data needed for all three parts of the Hearing Screening Follow-up Survey and submit Guam EHDI data for HSFS by the deadline.
