ASIPP: Implementation and Evaluation of the Adult Suicide Intervention and Prevention Plan
Project Description:
The University of Oregon will provide evaluation services, including:
• Assist with ongoing data collection and analysis for process and impact metrics related to training and webinars for gatekeeper training (e.g., QPR) and gun violence reduction
• Collaborative assessment of Oregon rates of suicidal ideation, suicide attempts, and suicide completions
• Co-design and implement evaluation efforts related to gun violence reduction
• Contribute to annual evaluation impact report pertaining to gatekeeper and gun violence reduction training and webinars
• Participate in developing evaluation goals and delivering evaluation findings, including recommendations for:
o Design and dissemination of evaluation surveys and data collection methods
o Continuous quality improvement for training and webinars
o Implementation parameters to guide future fidelity to training and webinars
o Improving methods for monitoring state suicide-related outcomes
