Project Description:

The IDEA-TA Project provides support and technical assistance to Kentucky school districts with an emphasis on yearly compliance monitoring focusing on, working with the Kentucky Department of Education's Office of Special Education and Early Learning (OSEEL) to provide implementation and oversight of the IDEA monitoring process. The project coordinates planning, monitoring and data collection within selected districts and attend training and coaching sessions in preparation for district monitoring visits. Staff also review and collect data related to district compliance of special education policies, procedures and regulations and keep KDE staff informed and updated through regular and documented communication protocols.
