Background AZ Executive Order 201-03 resulted in an Abuse & Neglect Prevention Task Force to help ensure the health and safety of Arizona's most vulnerable citizens. The Task Force developed recommendations, and the Sonoran Center UCEDD conducted an outside implementation of such. This year, the Sonoran Center UCEDD conducted a second evaluation, following up on the state's continued implementation of the Abuse & Neglect Prevention Task Force's recommendations. Evaluation Goals 1. Conduct the second evaluation of the implementation of recommendations developed by the AZ Abuse & Neglect Task Force 2. To the extent possible, evaluate the impact/effectiveness of implementation activities Status Completed. Participants Members, families, and guardians Healthcare provider organizations, managed care plan administrators, managers, and direct support professionals direct support professionals State agency staff Evaluation Outputs The evaluation is composed of three comprehensive surveys for 1) adults enrolled in AZ long-term services and supports, 2)family members, caregivers, and guardians of adults receiving long-term services and supports, and 3) health plan and provider administrators, managers, and direct support professionals. Surveys included both closed-choice and open-ended questions. The evaluation summarizes the surveys' themes, notes areas of significant improvement, and provides considerations for further systems improvement.
