Implementing Community Based Telehealth Infrastructure to Expand Healthcare to Vulnerable Populations

        Project Description:
The project will establish eight (8) community telehealth access sites located at public libraries, UW extension offices, and a local detention center. The equipment/assets purchased for this project will become the property of the community entity (e.g. library, extension office, detention center) where it is installed. Identified sites include three public libraries (Natrona, Park, Sheridan counties), four UW extension offices (Northeast, Southeast, Northwest, Southwest regions) and one detention center (Sweetwater County). Funding also supports necessary staffing to support infrastructure and evaluation of the proposed pilot.
