Project Description:
New Jersey Positive Behavior Support in Schools (NJ PBSIS) is a partnership between the New Jersey Department of Education Offices of Special Education and The Boggs Center, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and is funded by I.D.E.A Part B funds. NJ PBSIS provides training and technical assistance on the implementation of a tiered system of intervention for behavior and conduct in Pre-K to high school settings. The NJ PBSIS team hosts an annual Leadership Forum for the schools across New Jersey currently enrolled in the NJ PBSIS network and also www.pbsisnj.org, a resource rich site that makes tools, samples and usable products available to school personnel for application in their setting.
