Project Description:

These funds are earmarked in support of the Center's strategic initiatives regarding mental health. An individual with lived experience was hired as the Strategic Manager for Mental Health Initiatives, and is supporting work in the education and healthcare spheres, as well as contributing to the development of policies and practices supporting improved access to and quality of mental health-related services. These include programs focusing on individuals with both intellectual disabilities and mental illness, school programs addressing mental health and wellness, enhancing the competence of healthcare providers, and the delivery of training and technical assistance to a wide variety of constituencies.
