ACS RTCCL NY OPWDD Direct Support Workforce Investments Evaluation

Project Description:
University of Minnesota (UMN)'s RTC-CL will conduct formative and summative evaluations of several DSP Workforce development program initiatives funded by OPWDD. Formative evaluation will track and report on program implementation progress, whereas summative evaluation will track and report on previously determined program outcomes. The UMN team will develop an evaluation plan and data collection system to monitor the progress and outcomes of each program initiative. Metrics compiled as the result of evaluation activities will be shared with OPWDD at regular intervals. Results will be compiled into user-friendly reports that will be available for statewide distribution. Julie Bershadsky is PI and Amy Hewitt is Co-PI. Collaborators include Valerie Bradley of HSRI, and Celia Feinstein and Mary Lou Bourne from Management Support Solutions, Inc. This project was funded by the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
