Project Description:
ILRU, in partnership with the National Council on Independent Living (NCIL), Association of Programs for Rural Independent Living (APRIL), and the University of Montana Rural Institute, operates two training and technical assistance centers on independent living: ILRUs IL-NET Training and Technical Assistance Center for Centers for Independent Living (IL-NET T&TA Center for CILs); and ILRUs IL-NET Training and Technical Assistance Center for Statewide Independent Living Councils (IL-NET T&TA Center for SILCs). The Centers provide training through webinars, national institutes, targeted learning collaboratives, self-paced tutorials, online courses, and on-location (or virtual) training.
