Project Description:

The purpose of Providing Smiles and Understanding Needs (PSUN) is to provide free programs and services to children with long-term illnesses, disabilities, and special needs in the Brazos Valley area. PSUN members volunteer to provide fun activities for the children and support for their families. Our main goal is to provide friendship while bringing a smile to the kids' faces. 16 members who served 20 families and 30 children. Year Founded: Fall 1999 Membership Dues: $65 for general members & officers Admits Members: Sept. and Jan. Meeting Locations: Rudder and MSC ________ ACTIVITIES ___________ 2-3 themed play days per semester 1 field trip (Santa's Wonderland) 3 recurring events (Challenger Sports, Purposeful Life, Parenting on the Spectrum) Ages Supported 2-5: 15 6-10: 60% 11 & up: 25%
