Project Description:
1002753-908 KU will be involved in all development activities over the course of this four-year project. In Years 1 and 2, we will collaborate on the development of the SDLMI-R. This will involve video conference and in-person meetings related to conceptualization and planning, modifying the existing SDLMI developed at KU, providing feedback on materials and scripts, supporting the UT site in designing feasibility trials (Year 1) and single-case design studies (Year 2), as well as collaborating on data interpretation during these years to inform SDLMI-R revisions. In Years 3 and 4, the KU site will be directly involved in data collection activities. We will implement the study (SDLMI-R intervention) with students in participating Kansas schools. We will recruit and deliver the intervention with an estimated 30 students in Year 3 and 80 students in Year 4. We will train staff to administer student assessment batteries and deliver the intervention. Throughout, we will collaborate with the UT site on training procedures, implementation fidelity, and data collection. We will also participate in data analysis and dissemination activities over the life of the project.
