Oak Foundation: Supporting Students with Learning Differences in Higher Education
Project Description:
The purpose of this project is to facilitate postsecondary faculty, administrators and staff to work more successfully for retention and completion of postsecondary students with learning differences, and those students with learning differences who are marginalized (i.e. indigenous students such as Native Hawaiian and Paci^c Islanders). Project will revise, pilot, implement and disseminate an existing online faculty development modules to reiect current laws and regulations as well as the pandemic situation to improve the effectiveness. The revised modules will focus on learning differences and on intersectionality of indegious students and learning differences. The modules will be available within Hawaii, across the U.S. and internationally.
