EISP - Early Intervention Credential (EISP)
Project Description:
The purpose of this program is to increase the number of credentialed personnel (across disciplines) who currently provide services in Connecticuts early intervention system. The
program will award a preservice credential in early childhood intervention to 20 students a year who will attend a year long course consisting of 30 online sessions (across 3 sequential courses), and 12 monthly group seminars (learning communities), and implement 37 practicum based competencies with other staff, families and infants and toddlers under the joint supervision of their program supervisor and one of two faculty/staff, both of whom have children with disabilities.
