        Project Description:
        The purpose of the Behavioral Interventions for Neurodevelopmental Delays & Disabilities program is to meet the demand for service providers and educators with strong skill sets in implementing evidence-based positive behavioral interventions and structured teaching strategies to support children and adults with neurodevelopmental delays and disabilities across the entire state of Wyoming. Neurodevelopmental delays or disabilities may include, but are not limited to, any of the following: developmental delays, language delays or communication disorders, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, intellectual/developmental disabilities, emotional disabilities, or executive functioning difficulties. Participants will develop expertise and skills in the implementation of a variety of interventions to build functional communication and adaptive skills and decrease disruptive behaviors in learners who currently engage in challenging behaviors at home, in the community, or at school
