Project Description:
This project helps Delaware meet its obligations to students with print disabilities through provision of accessible instructional materials (AIM). Through a partnership with the Delaware Department of Education and the Delaware Division for the Visually Impaired, CDS provides information about the value of AIM as well as training and technical assistance to students, families, educators, and administrators about ways to match student needs for alternatives to standard print. The centralized Delaware AIM Center fulfills requests for AIM on behalf of public school students statewide and maintains a repository of accessible materials.
