Project Description:
        Project DelAWARE is a 5-year federal grant from SAMHSA. This project is a collaboration with the Delaware Department of Education, the University of Delaware Center for Disabilities Studies, the University of Delaware Center for Drug and Health Studies, and the Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health, Youth, and Families. This grant provides additional mental health resources to specific schools in Colonial, Capital, and Indian River School Districts. The overarching purpose of Project DelAWARE is to implement evidence-based mental health services in school settings within the context of the Multi-Tiered System of Support in order to promote wellness and resilience for school-age youth and to improve access to mental health services.
