Project Abstract Summary
The creation of the Pennsylvania Inclusive Health Equity Collaborative (IHEC) by Temple
University will work to mitigate the health disparities experienced by people with disabilities,
mental health issues, and aging citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic and into the future.
With participation by people with disabilities and seniors, the IHEC will provide direct services
and training, design systems, develop and implement programs and evaluate activities to end
health disparities among the named disproportionately affected populations. The four
overarching statewide activities will coordinate and collaborate with relevant people and
organizations to enhance their ability to address these health disparities.
