Project Description:
Description: The Pennsylvania Inclusive Health Equity Collaborative (IHEC) was formed in response to
the COVID-19 pandemic in an effort mitigate health disparities and promote the wellbeing of people
with disabilities, including those with mental health concerns and aging populations. The IHEC brings
together the Institute on Disabilities, TechOWL (Pennsylvania's Assistive Technology Act Program), and
multiple research centers in Temple's College of Public Health. This initiative partners with people with
lived experience in every aspect of direct service provision and training, program development and
implementation, outreach, and evaluation. The Health Equity Specialist will support current and
developing research and practice within the collaborative to advance health equity across the
Commonwealth
