ACS Kenya Inclusive Education for Economic Empowerment
Project Description:
This project will increase the capacity of Kenyan business owners with disabilities to do business with the United States and improve the business environment and climate for people with disabilities. ICI will lead the project with implementing partners. The project focuses on inclusion and disability rights. It also emphasizes training for instructors doing business development and business plan training to work with people with disabilities across Kenya, particularly in the northern and coastal regions. The learning will be multi-directional to help promote understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives among entrepreneurs and business people with disabilities in Kenya, valuing the business acumen and contributions of people with disabilities in their respective societies.
