Project Description:
The Partners in Policymaking Leadership Institute (PIP) and Youth Leadership Forum (YLF)are training initiatives of the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities. PIP is designed to provide adults with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities with the latest information on disability policy issues, and to help them become advocates for themselves, and for others in their communities. YLF provides high school students with disabilities information about disability rights, opportunities for careers, and self-determination. This project evaluates the outcomes of participation in the PIP and YLF programs.
