Association of food security with health and economic outcomes

Project Description:

Using data from the National Health Interview Survey and the Medical Expenditures Panel Survey, the project will examine the association of economic and health outcomes with food security for persons with disabilities over time, controlling for individual characteristics and participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Results will be shared in peer-reviewed journal articles and in U.S. Department of Agriculture publications.
