Project Description:
Our proposed project entitled Promoting Healthy Early Childhood Development in Minnesota: Improving Systems Collaboration and Sharing LTSAE Resources will bolster and evaluate the integration of parent-engaged developmental monitoring using "Learn the Signs. Act Early." (LTSAE) within multiple high-reach statewide program serving families with young children (birth to age 5), as well as advance the promotion and distribution of relevant, existing tools, materials, and programs to improve resiliency among families with young children during COVID-19 response and mitigation efforts. With these grant funds, Minnesota will make significant further progress toward the goal of coordinating and leveraging statewide early childhood partnerships, while also continuing to pursue our state vision of focusing on promoting equity, in order for all children in Minnesota to be born healthy and able to thrive within their families and communities. In addition to the building and maintaining a MN statewide team, we will work on expanding and building integration of LTSAE materials within two primary early childhood systems: Help Me Grow MN and our statewide home visiting program Follow Along Program. The outcomes of this systems-wide integration will be evaluated as a part of this proposal.
