Project Description:
The NM Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC) partners with LEND to offer individuals with disabilities and their families the opportunity to participate in this public policy workshop. The overall goal of the workshop is to increase the capacity of self-advocates, family members, students and stakeholders to participate fully in the New Mexico Legislative process. The content of the seminar focuses on how policies and laws that have a direct effect on New Mexicans with disabilities in all aspects of their life and how individuals can impact the legislative process.
