Heartland Telehealth Resource Center (HTRC)
Project Description:
Telehealth is playing a critical role in increasing access to care for patients during the COVID-19 outbreak. Many providers have questions about how to adopt telehealth, what new policy changes mean, and what others are doing to leverage the power of telehealth in reaching more people. This project provides TA and training around telehealth and best practices. Teams of specialists collaborate with clinicians on their particular specialty, enabling the primary care providers to provide specialty care to their patients. Each specialty area has its own ECHO, or team, such as autism or chronic pain. ECHO teams meet regularly to hear cases from providers and make recommendations.
