KIMMEL: Montana Access to Outdoor Recreation (MATOR) project

Center:
Fiscal Year:
2022
Contact Information:
Project Description:
This project will build on the inventory related to the Montana Access to Outdoor Recreation (MATOR) project funded approximately 10 years ago. Much of the assistive technology and adaptive equipment purchased through MATOR has begun to show wear and tear, been broken or unreturned, or has become obsolete due to new advances in technology. Funding from this grant repaired and replaced items from the original MATOR project, giving Montanans with disabilities better access to the outdoors and to adaptive recreation. The outcome of this initiative will be to improve access to adaptive recreation equipment for people with disabilities across the state.
