Project Description:
This project proposes to work with a minimum of three high implementing PBIS middle or high schools in Marion and/or Alachua County to integrate the Interconnected Systems Framework (ISF) and coordinate effective and efficient service delivery to students at risk. Professional development will expand each school's existing PBIS framework by incorporating universal screening to better identify students for mental health needs. School teams will enhance their system infrastructure by collecting and analyzing social, emotional and behavioral data across all students and engage in problem-solving to implement evidence-based interventions matched to student needs, including connecting students to the collaborating local mental health agencies for more intensive support. These model demonstration sites will help others in understanding the system components critical for successful service delivery to meet the needs of all students and the barriers to interagency coordination.
