Project Description:

Conduct a Landscape Analysis regarding the obstacles in providing skilled nursing care to medically-complex children with developmental disabilities receiving services in the community. This analysis includes identifying effective strategies or models that have been implemented in other states. In particular, the analysis highlights alternative options, if funding and ease of access for these services is not prioritized by Delaware policymakers, for supporting families in a home and community-based setting and providing information regarding how other Mid-Atlantic states and states with a similar population size to Delaware have secured funding and prioritization of HCBS for this population.
