Project Description:
I sought and received the grant to create "Bed Activism Zine." It is a digital zine highlighting and showcasing resistance and vision disabled and sick people nurture from their/our bed spaces. It is a way to share with fellow bed dwellers and show the world the crip, Mad, neurodivergent, Deaf, sick, tired, and debilitated wisdom emerging from bed. By bed activism, it is ever-evolving idea including resistance and vision being nurtured as people spend their time in beds as well as critiques of oppressions happening in, via, and through bed spaces bed dwellers witness and experience.
