Project Description:
People with significant locomotor disability are able to perform physical tasks associated with many basic aspects of daily life. When it comes to executing these tasks, there is little in the way of available assistive technology, severely limiting the ability of people with these disabilities to engage and aspects of daily living. To meet this critical need, this project envisions the development of a robotic arm, mounted on a wheelchair, to assist with the tasks of daily life.
