MEDTAPP Program to Create AI training

Project Description:

Creating a AI program to train providers to improve provider communication and empathy skills with patients with IDD. We are working with Medicaid, Nationwide Children's Hospital, and the University of Toledo. We are an interdisciplinary group of MDs, DDS, Nursing, and PharmD to use to train predoctoral students and residents to improve skills. This web based program will be rolled out in July after working on it all year. The AI component will improve the program with each additional participant. We hope to improve communication and empathy of students through direct feedback and computerized scoring of the performance.
