Project Description:

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) received a $6.5 million preschool development grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to assist Missouri in laying the foundation for building a comprehensive, coordinated statewide system of early childhood services (birth-age 5). Partners on the project include MUs Center for Excellence in Child Well-Being, UMSLs Community Innovation and Action Center, UMKCs Institute of Human Development, and Social Grove, Inc.
