Project Description:
This project will build upon MI-DDI's recent initiatives to prepare Michigan for transition to compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services HCBS Rule. The project goal is to assess the quality of HCBS compliant settings and increase the knowledge of individuals who receive HCBS services and supports and their families. Key activities include assessing the quality of HCBS compliant settings and promote evidence-based, innovative HCBS practices; collaborate with self-advocates and families and promote their leadership roles in HCBS; and implement the project activities through coordination with statewide project partners. Project Goal: To assess the quality of HCBS compliant settings and increase the knowledge of individuals who receive HCBS services and supports and their families. Project Objectives: 1.
