Project Description:
The Institute for Community Inclusion will deliver Progressive Employment training to Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation (NVR) staff via remote platform. The training content will address implementation strategies for the core components of the Progressive Employment model. Training will include direct instruction, small group activities using breakout rooms, large group discussions, polling questions, and fieldwork assignments designed to have trainees prepared for the next session. The goal is to cover the overall PE model, as well as the roles and responsibilities of staff delivering the PE services. This training is intended to enhance staff knowledge; skill development happens through the application of the knowledge acquired by working directly with clients, businesses, and colleagues through WIN (Jobsville) meetings, thus the training prepares staff for that next step of skill development.
