Project Description:

NEED The Texas Center for Disability Studies (TCDS) provides information to the Texas and National community to enhance quality of life. GOALS/OBJ 1. Provide information and resources so that Texans can make informed decisions. 2. Disseminate policy and research data to improve the quality of life in Texas for people with disabilities. UNUSUAL FEATURES The TCDS will utilize a newsletter, facebook, twitter and focused communications to disseminate information. The tools used will be dependent upon the type of knowledge and the audience targeted. BENEFITS Dissemination of useful and targeted information will improve quality of life for Texans. Regular communication will also increase the visibility of the TCDS and awareness of the TCDS expertise as a resource.
