Special Education Administrative Leadership Program

Project Description:
The Special Education Administrative Leadership (SEAL) Program is supported by a 5-year federal grant through OSERS and the Delaware Department of Education. The project will design and implement a special education leadership program that affords participants opportunities to deepen their knowledge and skills relative to both leadership and special education issues and administration. In addition to traditional coursework, participants will have numerous experiential learning opportunities including short and long term internships and an action research project addressing an authentic challenge. SEAL will graduate four successive cohorts (totaling approximately 55 participants) and will include follow up support to program completers in providing leadership in special education contexts.
