Project Description:
On February 27, 2019, the Public Utility Commission published an Opinion and Order adopting a permanent and ongoing wireless expansion initiative (WEI) program. This expansion of TDDP launched on July 1, 2019. This program will provide wireless devices to help eligible Pennsylvanians with disabilities access telecommunications. TDDP WEI will supply devices for telecommunication only at no charge: Apple iPhone 8/8 Plus, iPad, Samsung Galaxy S9/S4 tablet, Lucia mobile phone, a cell phone amplifier and 2 smart signalers. Consumers will be responsible in obtaining a data plan from a mobile carrier provider.
