Impact Grant - Youth Advisory Council

Project Description:

The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a virtual space where seven local high school students with IDD learn leadership and advocacy skills while producing an issue-oriented project of their own design. Students will create the bi laws for their group; jointly ideate a project; and collaborate on the implementation of that project. All work will meet the Institutes accessibility standards. YAC group project will be presented in May of 2021.
