Project Description:
The OHSU University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities will provide technical assistance and training to expand access to the Covid-19 vaccination and specifically targets increasing access for Oregonians with disabilities. Technical assistance support for local vaccine accessibility Working together, CRRU/OHA/ODHS and UCEDD will develop a training on good practices to ensure accessibility of COVID-19 vaccines for people with disabilities. This training will be offered to local public health authorities and healthcare providers. Staff of these organizations will receive stipends for their participation. Participants will learn how to assess sites and processes for accessibility, gain tools to mitigate and remove barriers, and receive materials to support their work. Funding from ACL will go toward staff time to develop and deliver the training, stipends for participating organizations, and printing costs for relevant materials.
