UCEDD Network to Expand COVID-19 Vaccine Access for People with Disabilities

Project Description:
The goals of this initiative are to 1) identify and break down barriers of unequal access to vaccines for Californians with IDD and 2) to expand access in communities. The Tarjan Center will work in collaboration with our Federal DD Network Partners, the USC and UC Davis UCEDDs, Disability Rights California and the State Council on Developmental Disabilities. In addition, we plan to collaborate with the California Department of Developmental Services and Independent Living Centers and other entities as relevant to our project activities. Planning efforts are currently underway among the DD Network Partners. The specific activities undertaken will include one or more of the activities described in our Letter of Assurance.
