TRACI: Community Outreach Collaborative (COC) of the American Association on Health and Disability
Project Description:
As a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Community Catalyst partner, the American Association on Health and Disability (AAHD) has developed and supports a National Disability Navigator Resource Collaborative that includes a network of disability organizations with health equity leaders. This network is called the AAHD Community Outreach Collaborative (COC), and the Rural Institute and Dr. Meg Traci are a part of the COC. COC members develop and implement outreach and education strategies to the disability community to increase outreach and enrollment of people with disabilities in Medicaid and the ACA Marketplace through both open and special enrollment periods as well as messaging on health insurance literacy.
