Project Description:
This project, funded by the CDC, aims to bolster the four steps of early identification in Montana (parent-engaged monitoring, developmental screening, referral to services, and receipt of services). The initiative also aims to advance the promotion and distribution of existing relevant tools, materials, and programs to improve resiliency among families with young children. In the second year, our work plan focuses on maintaining the advisory council of key stakeholders from partner programs, understanding the 4 steps of early identification in Montana for providers and families, and providing training to early childhood care and education providers on developmental milestones and Learn the Signs.
