Project Description:
The goal of this project will be to continue and expand activities to achieve the mission of the UH-CDS to support the quality of life, community integration, and self-determination of all persons with developmental disabilities and their families. Due to its particular strengths and resources, the UH-CDS has decided to focus its activities in three emphasis areas: first priority, education and early intervention; second priority, health-related activities; and third priority, community living (housing, employment, and recreation). These priorities are consistent with the priorities established by stakeholder groups and approved by the Community Advisory Council.
