Project Description:

USAWC is a public private partnership to promote gender equity in Afghanistan The Council consists of approximately 50 members and the honorary chairs are Former First Lady Laura Bush, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and First Lady Rula Ghani. The four pillars of work include education, health, entrepreneurship and rule of law. There is a focus on marginalized groups including individuals with disability.
