Project Description:
This project is NDCPD's core funding. In the 5th year of our 5 year funding cycle, staff are addressing the goals and objectives of the 5 year work plan. This work plan is in response to the needs identified by the ND disability community as prioritized by NDCPD's consumer advisory council. Four goals have been established that address workforce development, inclusive communities, self determination, and healthy citizens. These goals are directly related to emphasis areas outlined in the request for proposals and are described in terms of specific advocacy, capacity building, and systemic change activities through training, community services, dissemination, and research. Measurable outcomes and related activities are provided for each of the goals along with an anticipated timeline.
