Addressing COVID-19 Vaccine Access and Confidence Among Persons with Disabilities
Project Description:
The COVID-19 pandemic had a disproprotionate impact on morbidity and mortality among persons with disabilities, their families, and the communities in which they live. This one-year project, coordinated by the Association of University Centers on Disabilities, is a Community of Practice for UCEDDs to discover vaccine hesitancies within their respective states (District of Columbia), create effective vaccine confidence messages and materials, adapt messages/materials from partners to customize for their respectives states and communities, and share lessons learned with AUCD to submit to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
