Project Description:

The UCEDD partnered with the LA County Dept of Children and Family Services and UCLA Child Welfare Training to develop a training for DCFS Children's Social Workers on recognizing and supporting children with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the child welfare system. This E-learning curriculum was disseminated to all CSWs in Los Angeles County as a mandatory training.
