$ North Dakota Increasing Covid 19 Vaccines

Project Description:

The funds from this grant project will be used to improve access for people with disabilities to Covid-19 vaccine sites. This will be accomplished in a number of ways: 1) provide education about the importance of the vaccine, 2) identify people unable to independently drive to a site; 3) assist individuals with scheduling appointments; 4) arrange accessible transportation; 5) provide companion support; 6) remind people of their upcoming vaccine appointments and 7) provide technical assistance to vaccine sites regarding vaccine accessibility. NDCPD will work with Aging & Disability Resource Centers, P&A, SCDD, and CILs to maximize state coordinate as possible.
