Autism Intervention Research Network on Physical Health
Project Description:
We are pleased to commit to serve as a Collaborative Research Entity for $20,000 annually. We agree to participate in Research Network activities including:
(1) teleconferences, subcommittees and in-person meetings;
(2) development of concept and protocol of observational and clinical trial studies;
(3) observational studies and clinical trials, including subject enrollment, data collection, patient record maintenance, adherence to good clinical practice, compliance with protocol requirements, randomization methods for assignment of patients to experimental or control groups or randomization of care delivered to different conditions;
(4) activities that enhance the research training and mentorship of junior/new investigators; and
(5) translation of critical findings to practice and training.
A postdoctoral researcher will support project activities, namely engaging in the AIR-P network under Dr. Shogren's supervision and identifying and participating in research activities at KUCDD that are aligned with the AIR-P network.
